The Supreme Court
Under the Judicial branch in the 3 branches of government there is the supreme court. The supreme court consists of 9 judges chosen by the president. They are the highest court in the U.S, and here they receive thousands of cases weekly that they must choose from. Each Justice receives the cases and them along with their team will read them and decide which ones to present to the other justices. Each case no matter who is making it, is treated and read through the same as any other. Weekly the Justices will meet with one another and decide which cases to take and which to not. Once a case is taken each side has 30 minutes to present their case as well as answer all the justice’s questions. Presenting in front of 9 judges is not a common thing, so the person who is presenting has to be able to answer all the judges' questions and keep several different trains of thought regarding each of the judges' questions about the case...
